Misha—affectionately known as “Bubie” or “Mishka”—is a 9-year-old mini pig with a story that started in heartbreak but grew into resilience. She was separated from her mother at just 3 days old, far too early to survive on her own. She didn’t know how to eat, and her tiny body was so fragile that her bones would crack when she tried to move. She was fighting just to stay alive.
With constant care, patience, and love, Misha learned how to eat, gained strength, and slowly began to heal. Today, she is a survivor—gentle, sweet, and full of personality—but the effects of her early neglect have never fully left her. She still requires ongoing support, careful monitoring, and specialized care to keep her comfortable and thriving.
Providing that level of care comes with significant costs, and we are reaching out for help. Donations go directly toward her nutrition, supplements, medical needs, and the continued care that allows her to live a safe and happy life.
Misha’s journey is a testament to resilience and the power of compassion. If her story touches your heart, please consider making a donation. Every bit of support helps us continue to give her—and animals like her—the life they deserve.
Benny—affectionately known as Bean—is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd with a heart as big as his paws. Despite his strength and spirit, Bean is living with epilepsy, a condition that requires constant care and vigilance. Every day, he depends on three anti-seizure medications, two essential vitamins, and two rescue medications that must be on hand at all times to stop emergencies and keep him safe.
Even with all of his medications, Bean still has really hard days. About 2–4 times a month, he experiences cluster seizures, meaning he can have multiple seizures in a single day. These episodes are frightening, exhausting, and require immediate intervention and close monitoring. His rescue medications are critical during these moments, helping to bring the seizures under control and give him a chance to recover. Through it all, he remains incredibly loving, loyal, and full of life.
The reality is, Bean’s care is ongoing and expensive. The cost of daily medications, rescue treatments, supplements, and emergency care adds up quickly, and we are reaching out for help to continue giving him the quality of life he deserves.
Bean is still just a young dog with so much life ahead of him. With your support, we can keep him safe, comfortable, and surrounded by love. If his story touches your heart, please consider making a donation—every single contribution truly makes a difference in his journey.
Higgins—affectionately known as “Higgie”—is a 2-year-old mini pig whose life began in a place of hardship. He was rescued from a homeless camp, where he was living in poor conditions—unhealthy, scared, and without the care he needed to thrive.
Since coming into rescue, Higgie has shown just how resilient he is. He’s safe now, surrounded by people who care deeply for him, but he continues to face ongoing medical challenges. Higgins lives with an anal prolapse, which requires consistent management and careful monitoring, as well as some cognitive issues that mean he needs extra patience, understanding, and specialized care in his daily life.
Despite everything he’s been through, Higgie has a gentle spirit and a unique personality that makes him incredibly special. His care is more intensive than most, and the costs for his medical needs, supplies, and ongoing support add up quickly.
Donations help ensure that Higgins can stay comfortable, safe, and loved while receiving the care he needs. If his story speaks to you, your support can make a meaningful difference in his life.
